The 5-foot-10 guard, Natasha Cloud is a one-time WNBA Champion with the Washington Mystics. One of the best point guards in the history of the WNBA, Cloud She leads the 2015 Draft class in assists per game, and at the end of the 2024 season, she is 10th all-time in assists with 1521 assists, as per Basketball Reference. After playing eight seasons for the Mystics, she signed with the Phoenix Mercury before the 2024 season and has fit in like a glove as she gave a franchise record 263 assists in the very first season. Cloud averaged 11.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game in the 2024 season for the Phoenix Mercury. She averaged a career-high in steals, blocks, and rebounds as she took the Mercury to the 2024 playoffs, and in her first playoff game for the Mercury, she scored a team-high 33 points.

Natasha Cloud was drafted with the 15th overall pick in the second round of the 2015 WNBA Draft by the Washington Mystics. She turned out to be a steal by the Washington Mystics and helped them to win their first title in 2019. In the 2019 playoffs, Cloud averaged 13.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. In 2025 Natasha Cloud also played in the Unrivaled 3x3 basketball league for team Phantom.

Natasha Cloud played college basketball for the University of Maryland and Saint Joseph’s University. After playing freshman year with the Maryland Terrapins, Cloud transferred to the SJU Hawks women’s team and had to sit out a year due to the NCAA transfer protocol. She won several individual awards as well as team trophies and also several NCAA Tournament appearances.

In her freshman season with Maryland (2010-11), Cloud featured in 31 games and made six starts, averaging 2.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.7 steals per game, shooting 37.9% from the field. She was ranked third in assists per game on the Terrapins roster and had a better assist-to-turnover ratio than most of the experienced players.

In her sophomore year with SJU (2012-13), Cloud played 1000+ minutes compared to only 391 in her freshman season. After coming from a one-year break, Cloud hit the season running and averaged 9.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.8 steals per game, shooting 38.9% from the field. She delivered an excellent season as a starting point guard for the Hawks and was ranked fifth in the conference for total assists (142). Her perimeter defense combined with quick and sharp reflexes resulted in opposition turnovers as she generated the 13th most steals in the conference and was named on the A-10 All-Defense team. She also played in the NCAA Tournament and lost in the first round, recording 10 points, three rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks against Vanderbilt. She also won the A-10 Conference tournament and recorded 15 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals, and one block against Fordham in the Finals.

In her junior year (2013-14), Cloud averaged 11.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 7.6 assists and 2.0 steals per game, shooting 39.2% from the field. She was the best point guard in the A-10 conference and was ranked first in total assists (243) and assists per game (7.6), second in steals (64), and surprisingly tied fifth for most defensive rebounds (181) in the conference. The guard was named the A-10 Defensive Player of the Year and also earned All-League honors by being named to the All-A-10 second team and the A-10 All-Defense team. She also played in the NCAA Tournament and lost in the second round, averaging 11.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per game.

In her senior year (2014-15), Cloud averaged 12.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.8 steals per game, shooting 36.8% from the field. She was ranked 17th in points (388), seventh in defensive rebounds (161), first in assists (197), 10th in steals (53) per game in the conference, and earned All-League honors by being named to the All-A-10 second team and A-10 All-Defense team.

Natasha Cloud High School

Natasha Cloud played high school basketball for Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield, Pennsylvania. She led the school to two consecutive Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class AAAA state finals. The guard also earned All-State honors by being named to the third-team All-State in her junior year and first-team All-State in her senior year.
