Saniya Rivers is a guard for the NC State Wolfpack, a team that competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). She is in her senior year, as of April 2025. She started her career with the South Carolina Gamecocks in 2021. After playing in 27 games and becoming a national champion in the 2021-22 season, Rivers joined the Wolfpack ahead of the 2022-23 season, as per the Wolfpack's website.

Rivers, who was ranked third overall player in the 2021 class by ESPN, played in 31 contests and won the ACC Sixth Player of the Year award as a sophomore for the NC State Wolfpack. The Eugene Ashley High School graduate was honored with an All-ACC First Team and All-Defensive Team selection and appeared in 35 games in the 2023-24 season, according to the aforementioned website.
