Germie Bernard is a professional football player of the Junior class and number four of the Alabama Crimson Tide. He plays the position of Wide receiver for the team. He is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, and attended Liberty High School. Bernard attended Michigan State University before transferring to the University of Washington in 2023 and Alabama in 2024. He enrolled at the University of Washington in time for spring practices and started the season-opening win over Boise State. In that game, he made three receptions for 47 yards and had two kickoff returns for 63 yards, including a 51-yarder on the season's first play. During the game with Tulsa which he won, he contributed with two receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown, two carries for eight yards, and two kickoff returns.
Bernard scored on a one-yard run and added three receptions for 23 yards in the Cal win. He caught a 20-yard pass, rushed for 12 yards and a touchdown on five carries, and had three kickoff returns for 66 yards against Arizona. Against Oregon, he caught eight passes for 98 yards. They won the game. He missed the ASU game due to injury but returned at Stanford, making three catches for 43 yards. Bernard also had six catches for 63 yards in the win over No. 18 Utah and an 11-yard punt return at Oregon State. In the victory over Washington State, he contributed with two catches for 15 yards, and in the Pac-12 Championship Game win over No. 5 Oregon, he had two catches for five yards and a touchdown, along with a 32-yard punt return against the Ducks.
