Kaden Feagin, born on March 23, 2004, is an American football running back currently playing for the Illinois Fighting Illini. He began playing high school football at the Arthur High School where he was rated a consensus four-star recruit by ESPN. Feagin rushed for 1,637 yards and 27 touchdowns, tackling on 45 pass completions for 495 yards and nine passing touchdowns. The 6-foot-3, 250-pound 4-star prospect holds the school record in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns in one single season. For his contribution in his senior varsity year, Feagin was awarded the 2022 Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year.
The Atwood native embarked on his collegiate football journey with Illinois over several power-five offers from Duke, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Notre Dame, Purdue, Rutgers, and Wisconsin among others. As a freshman in 2023 with the Fighting Illini, Feagin was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week after the program’s win against Maryland. The freshman running back made 19 carries for 84 yards while scoring his first touchdown. Feagin saw action in nine games with four starts at running back and totaled 95 carries for 438 yards with two touchdowns.
