Laverna Styles is the mother of Sonny Styles. She also attended Ohio State University where she met her future husband. She is the director, HR Operations at Ohio Department of Administrative Services and has been serving in the role since June 2023. She had also previously worked as HCM Assistant Administrator at Ohio Department of Natural Resources from March 2020-June 2023.

Who is Sonny Styles Father?

Lorenzo C. Styles, often known as Lorenzo Styles Sr. is the father of Sonny Styles. He is a former NFL linebacker and was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round of the 1995 NFL draft. He had since then played for teams like the Atlanta Falcons and the St. Louis Rams in the NFL. He won the Super Bowl XXXIV with the St. Louis Rams in 2000.

After his playing career, he had served as the linebackers coach for the Old Dominion University from 2010-11, defensive line coach for the Marion Mayhem in 2010, defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach for the Dayton Silverbacks in 2011 and the head coach for the Marion Head Racers in 2012.

Lorenzo Styles Sr. had also played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes before his NFL career. His son Sonny Styles and his elder brother Lorenzo Styles Jr. have also followed their father to pursue a career in football.
