Xavier Nwankpa, born on December 8, 2003, was a top-rated player in Iowa coming out of high school. He began his high school football career at the Southeast Polk High School where he accumulated 16 interceptions in his varsity years. Nwankpa recorded 20 tackles and three interceptions and posted the school’s top long jump at 20 feet, two inches as a freshman. In his Sophomore Year, he headed the Rams with 52.5 tackles and three interceptions and returned nine punts for 178 yards.
