Benoit Saint Denis is a well-established professional mixed martial artist who competes for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in the lightweight division. He is the first fighter from France to compete on French soil and win a UFC show. On October 30, 2021, at UFC 267, Saint Denis made his UFC debut against Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos in the welterweight division on short notice. He was defeated by a unanimous decision in the fight after coming close to finishing the fight several times in the second round. On June 4, 2022, Saint Denis took on Niklas Stolze at UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik. After submitting Stolze with a rear-naked choke in the second round, he emerged victorious.

Saint Denis was supposed to compete against Joe Solecki at UFC Fight Night 219 on February 18, 2023. However, a problem with his ankle caused Saint Denis to withdraw from the fight. Benoit Saint Denis has maintained a dominant run in the elite professional mixed martial arts promotion and has a considerable knack for finishing fights.
