Fast-rising UFC women's strawweight fighter Paige VanZant appeared on UFC Tonight to talk about her popularity and future. She said that she's not in a rush to fight for the title, noting that she still has "two years to be the youngest title holder." She was also asked about UFC President Dana White comparing her rise to that of Conor McGregor.

"I think Conor is awesome and to have Dana compare me to him is a huge honor," VanZant said.

VanZant was also asked about critics saying that she's been getting special treatment from the UFC.

"There's going to be negativity out there no matter how successful I am," Van Zant noted. "It'll just give me a little more fire to keep winning fights."

The UFC announced that former UFC light heavyweight title contender Alexander Gustafsson has been injured and was forced to withdraw from his main event fight against Glover Teixeira at UFC Fight Night in Berlin. UFC women's strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will step into the main event to defend her title against Jessica Penne. The UFC noted that the fight will be the first title fight to take place in Europe, outside of the UK and the first-ever women's title fight in Europe.

UFC women's bantamweight fighter Alexis Davis, who fought Ronda Rousey at UFC 175 last July, noted on Instagram that her 5-year-old niece, Hayden, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma Cancer. Hayden's mother will need to take a year off from work to be there with her for her Chemo and treatment.
