Tim Tszyu is a prominent Australian professional boxer and a former WBO light-middleweight champion. He was born on November 2, 1994, to Russian parents in Sydney, New South Wales. Coming from a family of boxers where his father, Kostya Tszyu himself, was a professional boxer. Tszyu was drawn towards athleticism from his childhood and after a stint in gymnastics and football, he eventually started boxing. In his amateur days, he compiled an impressive record of 33 wins and one loss before becoming a professional boxer.

At the age of 22, Tim Tszyu made his professional boxing debut on December 17, 2016. In his professional debut, Tszyu locked horns with Zorran Cassady for a six-round showdown. Tszyu outclassed Cassady and won the fight by a unanimous decision kicking off his professional career with a win. He cemented himself as a formidable force as a professional boxer, collecting victories on the trot. Tszyu is scheduled to take on Bakhram Murtazaliev on October 19, 2024, in a high-stakes IBF super welterweight championship bout in Orlando, Florida, USA.
