Suiren in Naruto

After Nagato took over Amegakure, Suiren and her teammates were sent to Konoha to take the Chunin exams which was a collaboration between Sunagakure and Konohagakure. As she was ordered by Konan, Suiren and her team were told to keep quiet about Hanzo's death and gather information on jinchūrikis.

Once they arrived in Konoha, she and her teammates were split into different rooms to take the written test. Shikamaru, the Proctor, said that everyone only needed to answer one question on that test but their combined score with their team would determine whether they pass or fail the exam, as they need exactly 100 points to pass. As her team knew how good Suiren’s sensory abilities were, they signaled with their fingers what question each one would take.

However, in the end, Neji devised the plan to allow everyone to pass the exam by striking on the wall to let everyone know which question each room should answer. After the time was up and everyone answered, Shikamaru told them about the final question and that they have to decide who won the team with the sacrifice in the situation that needs a decoy.

Ultimately, Suiren saw through this question as a test of loyalty and left the question unanswered which allowed them to pass the exams.

As a lot of people had passed, Temari announced that as a preliminary round the first 30 teams that made it to Suna would qualify to continue. Suiren and her team were among the 30 teams to make it to Suna.The following day after their night at the checkpoint the second exam was announced to be held in the demon forest.

During the second exam the team begins searching for a jinchūriki and on the second day of the exam they encounter team Komugi and after they realized that a jinchūriki wasn't in their team, they retreated. The following team continued looking for a shinobi who had high chakra levels and came across Team Guy. When they realized that the chakra levels weren't high enough to be a jinchuriki, they attempted to retreat but they were followed by Team Guy who had the intention to take their scroll.

As the fight continued and the ground collapsed following Ajisai and Tenten, they agreed to call off the battle as teammates were far more important. Suiren and Fuyo decided to rescue their own teammate alone. While they were searching for their teammate, they encountered Team Komugi again.

She and Fuyo were at a disadvantage as they were less in number. As their enemy team attacked she and Fuyo defended themselves and eventually made a truce with Lee and Neji. As they overpowered Team Komugi, they fled. After locating their teammates through their chakra signatures inside one of the ruins of the temple, they realise that the way out for them was blocked due to the sand and rubble.

They tried to come up with different ways to take them out so that they don't cause another cave in. The blockade was then washed away by Tenten and both the teams reunited with their respective members.

Suiren was a helpful and caring person as she would help ninjas from other villages too.

Suiren has long dark green hair and she wore her forehead protector as a bandana. She has a slim face which is mostly covered by a light purple poncho which she wore over a violet kimono with an orange sash and bandages around her arms and hands. She has light purple eyes.

Suiren is proficient in using Water Release and can generate a drizzle to conceal her position, provided that there is enough water in the area. She is also a very skilled sensory-type ninja and was personally chosen by Konan to search for a jinchūriki during the chunin exams.

With the help of this ability, she is able to accurately determine how her target's body is positioned along with other abilities. She also carries an umbrella and uses it to defend herself from taijutsu attacks.
