He helped the 49ers reach the 2021 playoffs and even made it to the NFC Championship game, where they lost to the Los Angeles Rams. He got injured in 2022 again and wasn’t with the squad in their run to the NFC Championship game, where they again lost, this time to the Philadelphia Eagles. The 49ers let go of Jimmy and he went on to sign a new contract with the Las Vegas Raiders.
