Malik Nabers is an American football wide receiver for the New York Giants in the NFL. The Giants selected him as the sixth overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Nabers made his NFL debut against the Minnesota Vikings, where he had five receptions for 66 yards in a 6-28 defeat. In his first three career games, he became the youngest wide receiver in NFL history to score at least two touchdown grabs as well as the first player in history to collect at least 20 receptions and three touchdown catches.

Growing up in Louisiana, Nabers attended Comeaux High School. After playing three seasons at the school, he transferred to Southside High School. Nabers was rated as a four-star recruit by 247Sports and Rivals. He recorded 58 passes for 1,223 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2019. Nabers committed to his home state Louisiana State University. He started 31 games of the 38 he appeared in, recording 189 receptions for 3,003 through his three seasons in college. Nabers finished his collegiate career by becoming LSU’s all-time leader in receiving yards and received unanimous All-American and First-team All-SEC honors in 2023.

According to DraftSharks, Nabers has sustained four injuries, as of October 2024. He sustained a shoulder injury in August 2021 and again in September 2023. In 2024, he suffered an ankle sprain in August and a Grade-1 concussion in September.

Shoulder Injury (2021)

Malik Nabers sustained a shoulder injury during pre-season college games in 2021. Nabers made his debut against Central Michigan, after missing the first two games of the season.

Shoulder Injury (2023)

According to Draftsharks, Malik Nabers suffered a mid-game right shoulder surgery in September of 2023. Despite the pain, Nabers continued the game and did not miss any action.

Pedal Ankle Sprain (2024)

Malik Nabers sprained his ankle on 11th August, 2024. He missed a few days of practice before the 2024 NFL season started.

Head Cranial Concussion Grade 1 (2024)

Malik Nabers sustained a Grade-1 concussion against the Dallas Cowboys on 26th September, 2024. It occurred when he made a late fourth-quarter catch attempt as he took a fall. Nabers missed two games in Weeks 5 and 6 due to the concussion protocol.
