Trent Frederic is an American forward who plays for the Edmonton Oilers. The Boston Bruins drafted him 29th overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, and he played with them until his move to Edmonton.

Frederic was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and coached in his youth by Keith Tkachuk and David Backes. He joined the USA Hockey National Team Development Program in 2013 and later played two seasons with the Wisconsin Badgers. After joining the Bruins in 2018–19, he initially struggled but improved under coach Jim Montgomery in 2022, earning a bigger role before moving to the Oilers.
