History of Doku Doku no Mi

Twenty two years ago, Magellan ate the Doku Doku no Mi Devil Fruit when he was just a child. This can be seen when he accidentally killed a flower that he was watering, with his powers.

Appearance of Doku Doku no Mi

As the fruit hasn't yet been shown in the anime, we don't know a lot about its appearance.

Strengths and weaknesses

This devil fruit allows the user to create and control a wide range of poison that can vary in strength. The user can produce it in liquid and gaseous states too. The user is also immune to all the different types of poison, whether it's internal or external. The user can also create a huge amount of liquid poison that they can shape in any type of object or being. If they produce large amounts of poison, then they can use it for traveling.

The user can also coat themselves with a thick layer of poison which acts as their armor and it prevents the enemy from attacking as they're scared of getting poisoned. If someone is affected by one type of poison then they can be cured with the right amount of antidote. If they're affected by more than one type of poison, then saving them can get problematic.

Even though this devil fruit is strong, it has its weaknesses. Even though the user is immune to poison and its effects, the user's body may not be able to process the poison. If the user eats poisonous food, they will be affected by diarrhea. They are also weak against fire, as fire neutralizes the poison. If the user generates large amounts of poison then they're also a threat to their allies or bystanders. Other than that, they have the standard devil fruit weakness, that is the inability to swim.

Usage

Magellan uses his powers in various ways. With the help of the fruit's power, he can even eat a poisoned meal at ease. Even though poisoned food doesn't harm him, he does develop a severe case of diarrhea. Magellan uses his power for the simplest form of offense, like turning his breath into fire. He also uses it to attack his enemies by producing and manipulating poison from his body. With this power, he shows his authority to the prisoners. He can even simply poison anyone just by breathing or using a complex move.

In order to not let his enemies run away, Magellan uses his liquid poison to create walls and block all the exists. If someone tries to break through it, they're affected by the poison and get dissolved. Magellan can also coat himself in liquid poison to serve as armor which prevents the enemy from landing any direct physical attack without getting poisoned. He also has a good control over his powers, which allows him to delicately handle small objects without harming him. Magellan can also produce various types of poison that can affect the opponent's senses.

Techniques

The techniques used by Magellan are:

Hydra

This is Magellan's signature technique. In this technique, Magellan produces vast amounts of liquid purple-blue poison from his body. Magellan is able to manipulate it and makes it into a three headed dragon. He can also produce liquid poison in the shape of a dragon head from his arm which can get extended in order to attack the enemy. The poison level is so high that it causes the victims to dissolve. It paralyzes them and leaves them in excruciating pain.

Venom Road

In this technique, Magellan engulfs himself in poison and travels from one of the Dragon's necks and out of its mouth to where he wants to go. He also uses it for traveling.

Chloro Ball

In this technique, Magellan chews and blows up his poison like a bubble gum and then spits it at high speed towards his enemy. Once the bubble makes contact with the enemy, it releases a cloud of poison gas.

Doku Fugu

In this technique, Magellan inflates his body in order to withstand physical attacks.

Doku Gumo

In this technique, Magellan breathes out large amounts of poisonous breath and creates a fog cover around his surroundings. It not only blurs out the enemy’s vision but also makes them gradually weak.

Venom Demon: Jigoku no Shinpan

This is Magellan's ultimate attack. In this technique, Magellan produces an enormous amount of liquid poison and he then transforms it into a huge devil like entity that mimics his every move.
