Chanelle Scheepers is a South African professional tennis player. Scheepers turned pro in 2000 and played two ITF events. In 2001 She reach 4 finals in the ITF level and won all with 3 of them coming from Durban, South Africa a local tournament and one in the United States. The following year hse won an ITF tournament in Mackay, Australia. In 2003, she played her first Tour level event in the Mondial Australian Women\'s Hardcourts and won her first main draw tour level match after getting through the Qualifying draw over Samantha Stosur. She returned to playing in the ITF events in 2004 where she won 4 titles 2 in Benin City, Nigeria and 2 in Pretoria, South Africa. In 2007 Scheepers won her first ITF titles in 3 years as she won 2 titles in Nigeria and the United States. The following year, she made 4 Main draw wins and won a title in Irapuato, Mexico. She won her first WTA single titles at Guangzhou, China in 2011 where she defeated Magdalena Rybarikova.
