Brionna Jones is a women's basketball player who plays for the Connecticut Sun in the WNBA. She was born on December 18, 1995, in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. Jones started her basketball life at Aberdeen High School where she became state champion. After her school success, Jones joined The Maryland Terrapins women's basketball team for college basketball where she became a three-time First-team All-Big Ten team selection and one-time Big Ten Tournament MOP in 2017.

In 2017 Brionna Jones was selected eighth overall by the Connecticut Sun in the 2017 WNBA draft. First three seasons she could not live up to the mark but the 2021 season was a breakthrough for her where she averaged 14.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists and was awarded as WNBA Most Improved Player. The following year her impact on the team was much more and rewarded as WNBA Sixth Player of the Year in 2022. Currently, she is averaging 12.7 points, 1.6 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game as of August 31, 2024, playing as a power forward for the Connecticut Sun.
