AEW Fyter Fest History
AEW Fyter Fest made its debut in 2019 as a collaboration between AEW and Community Effort Orlando (CEO). The show was a parody of the infamous Fyre Festival and was AEW’s second-ever event. It was streamed free in North America on B/R Live, while international viewers accessed it via pay-per-view. In 2020, AEW planned to hold Fyter Fest in London, which marked its UK debut. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was relocated to Daily’s Place in Jacksonville and restructured as a two-part Dynamite TV special.
The 2021 edition followed suit as another two-part Dynamite event. This time, it held across two Texas cities during AEW’s “Welcome Back” tour. In 2022, Fyter Fest expanded into a four-part television special spanning both Dynamite and Rampage. By 2023, the event shifted to August to lead into AEW’s All In week. It was condensed into a three-part series across Dynamite, Rampage, and the newly launched Collision.
