Sergei Pavlovich is one of the most feared knockout artists who competes as a professional mixed martial artist in the heavyweight division. Currently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the Russian juggernaut competed in multiple fight promotions after his professional debut before making his way into the premiere mixed martial arts promotion, the UFC.

After training in Greco-Roman wrestling as a child Sergei Pavlovich competed as a wrestler before joining the army. On his return from the services, he competed in combat Sambo. Sergei Pavlovich made his professional debut in mixed martial arts on December 20, 2014, against Alexander Derevyanko in a successful outing where he won by a first-round TKO.

After his professional debut, Sergei Pavlovich compiled a perfect record of 12 wins and 0 losses paving the way for his UFC debut. On his promotional debut in the promotion, he faced Alistair Overeem at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Ngannou 2 on November 24, 2018, in a losing cause. Pavlovich, however, returned to winning ways and put together a phenomenal six-fight winning streak in the UFC. He faced Tom Aspinall at UFC 295 for the UFC interim heavyweight championship. Aspinall knocked him out in the first round to seize the victory and hand him his second professional loss. Pavlovich is currently ranked No. 3 in the UFC’s heavyweight rankings and is scheduled to return to the octagon in his upcoming fight against Alexander Volkov on June 22, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
