Ezekiel Elijah Elliott is an American football running back for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2024 NFL season. The Cowboys selected Elliott as the fourth overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Elliott played for the Cowboys from 2016 to 2022, joined the New England Patriots for 2023 season, and returned to the Dallas Cowboys in 2024. According to Spotrac, he signed a one-year contract with the Cowboys worth $2 million in 2024. Elliott has earned the Pro Bowl selection three times, and was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2016. He also led the NFL in rushing yards in 2016 and 2018.

Elliott attended Ohio State University, where he played football for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2013 to 2015. According to Sports Reference, he recorded 3,961 rushing yards, 43 touchdowns, and 58 receptions for 449 receiving yards and one touchdown. Before committing to Ohio State, he attended John Burroughs School (JBS), where he played high school football. He graduated with a four-star recruit rating from Scout and participated in the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
