Kyler Murray Playoff History
Kyler Murray

Kyler Murray has a postseason record of 0-1 as of November 2024.

Kyler Murray is an American football quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. The former first-overall pick from the 2019 NFL draft is widely known for his dual-threat ability from the quarterback position. Hailing from Texas, Bedford, the 5-foot-10 signal caller started his football journey at Allen High School and led the school team to three straight state championships while starting 43 consecutive games for them. His on-field performance earned him Mr. Texas Football honors twice alongside getting recognized as Gatorade Football Player of the Year for his senior season. The five-star recruit coming out of high school took his talents to Texas A&M University, where he started 3 games before transferring to the University of Oklahoma, where he finished the rest of his collegiate career.

The Heisman Trophy winner was a two-way athlete in high school and college. He is the first player to get selected in the first round of both MLB and NFL draft. The 2019 Rookie of the Year honoree had three straight seasons where he passed for more than 3,700 yards since entering the league. However, injuries have derailed his on-field performance last couple of seasons as he has not played more than 11 games in either the 2022 or 2023 seasons. The two-time pro bowler is healthy once again and has the Arizona Cardinals sitting second in the NFC West behind the Seattle Seahawks after 12 weeks into the 2024 NFL season.

Kyler Murray's Playoffs Appearances

Kyler Murray has made it into the postseason only once as of November 2024. Kyler started 14 games in his third season and had a 9-5 record. Arizona finished the season with an 11-6 record and had Colt McCoy start 3 games instead of Kyler Murray, who missed three weeks due to an ankle injury he suffered against the Green Bay Packers in week 7. It was the first time the Cardinals reached the playoffs since the 2015 season.
