Taylor Townsend is a 28-year-old professional tennis player from America. She has won seven doubles WTA titles till date, including the 2023 Cincinnati Masters and the 2024 Washington Open. Her best Grand Slam result came at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships and the 2025 Australian Open, where she won the title alongside Katerina Siniakova.

Townsend is also an accomplished mixed doubles player, having reached the final of the US Open in 2024 and making it to the quarterfinals at the Australian Open and Wimbledon. She is a left-handed player who is famous for her aggressive, serve and volley style of play.

She advanced to her first championship match of the 2024 WTA Finals, with Katerina Sinikova losing to Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe in the final. Townsend defeated Hsieh Su-Wei and Jelena Ostapenko by 6-2, 6-7, 6-3 to win her second major slam doubles title at the start of 2025 with Siniakova.

Taylor Townsend College
