Brandon Carlo is an American defenseman playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He started his NHL career with the Boston Bruins in the 2016–17 season, scoring his first goal on October 17, 2016. He played regularly for Boston, often paired with veteran defensemen like Zdeno Chára and Torey Krug.

Carlo scored his first playoff goal in the 2019 Stanley Cup Finals, where the Bruins lost to the St. Louis Blues. Carlo signed a two-year contract in 2019 and a six-year contract extension in 2021 with Boston. On March 7, 2025, Carlo was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs, with Boston retaining 15% of his contract.
