Mattias Janmark is a Swedish centre for the Edmonton Oilers as of May 2025. He scored on his first NHL shot and again on his first shot in his second game. He was drafted in the third round (No. 79) by the Detroit Red Wings in 2013 after being passed over twice. Detroit traded him to the Dallas Stars in 2015. In his rookie season (2015–16), he had 15 goals and 29 points in 73 games and five points in 12 playoff games.

Janmark missed the 2016–17 season due to a rare genetic knee condition but returned in 2017–18 to score 19 goals in 81 games for Dallas. He scored in the 2020 NHL Winter Classic for the Stars. Janmark later joined the Edmonton Oilers and re-signed on June 30, 2023, for one year at $1 million. He had 25 points (10 goals, 15 assists) in 66 games that season.
