Sean Iain Walker is a professional ice hockey defenceman for the Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL. Undrafted, he played college hockey at Bowling Green State University, earning All-WCHA Second Team honors twice. Walker began his professional career with the Ontario Reign in the AHL during the 2017–18 season, where he recorded 28 points in 64 games. After one AHL season, he signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Los Angeles Kings in July 2018.
Walker made his NHL debut later that year, scoring his first NHL goal on December 31, 2018. He was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers in 2023, where he posted a career-high 10 goals and 29 points during the 2023–24 season, split between the Flyers and Colorado Avalanche. Walker signed a five-year, $18 million contract with the Carolina Hurricanes on July 1, 2024.
