Allisha Gray is a professional WNBA player for the Atlanta Dream. Gray started playing basketball in high school at Washington County in Sandersville, Georgia and was named the Gatorade Georgia Player of the Year in 2012. She took her team to the 3A state championship in 2010 and was awarded the 3A state player of the year three times. Gray then joined the University of North Carolina where she played for two seasons before joining the University of South Carolina. Playing for the University of South Carolina under the tutelage of Coach Dawn Staley, Gray contributed to the team’s NCAA Championship in 2017.

Gray was drafted fourth overall by the Dallas Wings in the 2017 WNBA draft. During her first year in the WNBA, Gray was able to achieve the WNBA Rookie of the Year. Gray has also played for the United States in international tournaments and has a gold medal in the first-ever 3×3 basketball event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Gray averaged a career-high, 17.1 points per game, along with 4.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game in the 2023 WNBA season.
