Dorka Juhász is a professional basketball player in the WNBA. She is a Forward for the Minnesota Lynx and Famila Basket Schio in the EuroLeague. With a height of 6 feet 5 inches, Juhász plays as a versatile forward. Her college basketball career began at Ohio State University where she spent three seasons before transferring to the University of Connecticut. She played for Ohio State University where she was also a first-team All-Big Ten selection twice. She decided to transfer to UConn to enhance her skills and be ready for a professional career. She further played for the University of Connecticut where she also performed well and contributed to the team’s achievements, and in her last year was awarded Second-team All-Big East.

Juhász was drafted to the WNBA in the 2023 WNBA draft where she was picked with the 16th pick of the second round by the Minnesota Lynx. In her first season, she was able to make the WNBA All-Rookie Team. She also had a game on July 20th in her rookie season, where she became the only rookie to score 15+ points, grab 10+ rebounds, dish 3+ assists, and get 2+ steals while shooting 70% or better in a regular season game. In addition to WNBA, Juhász has also played in Europe and has been a part of the Italian Cup-winning team of Famila Basket Schio in 2024.

Dorka Juhász started her college basketball at Ohio State University and she played for the team from 2018 to 2021. While at Ohio State, Juhász became one of the most feared players in the Big Ten Conference. As a freshman, she scored 11.7 points, grabbed 9.0 rebounds per game, and was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team. The following year she posted averages of 13.2 points and 9.4 rebounds per game and was named First-team All-Big Ten.

In her junior year, she also improved her performance and scored 14.6 points and 11.1 rebounds per game, and she was awarded First-team All-Big Ten again in 2021. Juhász remained one of the most effective forwards in the conference throughout the season; she scored 975 regular season points and collected 722 rebounds for Ohio State.

In 2021, Juhász joined the University of Connecticut (UConn) to enhance her talent and play for the college team, which is among the best in the country. In her college career, she spent two seasons at UConn where she was a valuable asset to the Huskies team. During her first year, she scored 7.3 points and had 5.7 rebounds per game and led her team, UConn, to the NCAA Final Four. Her senior year she upped her scoring average to 14.2 points and 9.9 rebounds per game and was named Second-team All-Big East in 2023. All in all, she scored 1,620 points and 1,191 rebounds in her college, which proves her versatility and effectiveness on the court.
