Kalani Brown is a backup center for the Dallas Wings in the WNBA. Born on March 21, 1997, in Slidell, Louisiana, Brown is the daughter of DeJuna (Dee) and P. J. Brown, a former NBA veteran and champion with the Boston Celtics. Brown attended Salmen High School in Slidell, Louisiana, where she emerged as a young star. She then went on to have an illustrious college career at Baylor University from 2015 to 2019. During her time at Baylor, Brown was recognized as the Big 12 Player of the Year in 2018 and was also named the Big 12 Tournament Most Outstanding Player twice (2018, 2019). Her defense shined in her college days as well, as she made the Big 12 All-Defensive Team in 2017 and 2019. Additionally, she was a starting center of the Baylor team that won the NCAA Championship in 2019.

At the professional level, Kalani Brown has played for various teams, including the Los Angeles Sparks, Xinjiang Magic Deer, Atlanta Dream, Kayseri Basketbol, Hatayspor, and Maccabi Bnot Ashdod before joining the Dallas Wings in 2024.
