Madison Siegrist is an American from the United States of America, born on May 22, 2000, in Poughkeepsie, New York. As of August 2024, she plays as a power forward for the Dallas Wings after being selected by the team as the third overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft. Her father, George Siegrist, was a former basketball player for the Marist Red Foxes men's basketball team at Marist College before becoming the team's assistant coach. As of August 2024, she is averaging 12. points, collected 3.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.5 steals. She suffered an injury in her left index finger that required surgery, causing her to miss nearly 12 games in the 2023-2024 season.

Maddy Siegrist graduated from Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania, United States, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication in December 2021. She is pursuing her master's in Education and a teaching certificate from the same university. Siegrist was the NCAA Season Scoring Leader in 2023, the Big East Freshman of the Year in 2020, and the 2022-23 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She was awarded the Katrina McClain Award in 2023. She was also named the First-team All-American by AP, USBWA in 2023, the Third-team All-American by AP, USBWA in 2022, the First-team All-Big East four times from 2020 to 2023, and the Big East All-Freshman Team in 2020. Siegrist was honored with a spot on the WBCA Coaches' All-American in 2023.

Maddy Siegrist attended the Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie, New York. She was the Poughkeepsie Journal Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018. Siegrist is a three-time All-Section honoree, three-time All-League selection, and was named All-State twice. She ended her high school career as a senior with 32.7 points per game and 13.1 rebounds per contest.
