Twenty-four-year-old young power forward Maddy Siegrist is a professional basketball player for the Dallas Wings in the WNBA. Standing at 6 foot 1 inches tall, Siegrist is known as the best wing player in the league. Her basketball journey began in her hometown at Our Lady of Lourdes High School, where she earned the title of Poughkeepsie Journal Player of the Year. She was the main factor in leading her team to the Section 1 Class AA semifinals, with averages of 21 points, 4 assists, and 12 rebounds per game. Following her high school success, Siegrist continued her basketball career at Villanova University’s basketball team Wildcats in 2018. During her time in college, she earned the Big East Freshman of the Year in 2020. In her senior year, she received the Katrina McClain Award, honoring the best forward in the nation. She also became the scoring leader in the NCAA tournament in 2023.

Siegrist started her professional career when she was selected as the 3rd overall pick by the Dallas Wings in the 2023 WNBA draft. Her rookie season average of 3.7 points per game which was low for a hype rookie. However, she has bounced back in the 2024 regular season, becoming a dependable scorer for the Wings, averaging 11.6 points, 1 assist, and 3.3 rebounds, along with 0.5 blocks and 0.5 steals per game as of August 31, 2024. Unfortunately, her team Dallas Wings stands the button of the league as the 11th seed in the league and 5th in the Western Conference.
