Maddy Siegrist is a basketball player who plays for the Dallas Wings in the WNBA. She was born on 22 May 2000 in Poughkeepsie, New York. Siegrist started her basketball life at Our Lady of Lourdes High School where she was awarded the Poughkeepsie Journal Player of the Year for helping her team to the Section 1 Class AA semifinals with an average of 21 points, 4 assists and 12 rebounds per game. After school success, she moved to college basketball and joined Villanova University women's basketball in the year 2018. In college, she won Big East Freshman of the Year in 2020, and in her senior year, she won the Katrina McClain Award (2023) which is given to the best forward in the country.

In 2023, Siegrist was selected 3rd overall by the Dallas Wings in the WNBA draft. In her rookie season, she couldn't meet expectations and averaged only 3.7 points per match. In the 2024 regular season, she became a reliable scorer for wings averaging 12.1 points, 1.1 assists and 3.4 rebounds with 0.5 blocks and 0.5 steals per game as of August 2024.
