Sug Sutton, whose full name is Alecia Kaorie Sutton, is a professional WNBA player and plays for the Washington Mystics as a Guard as of 2024. Sutton is 5 foot 8 inches tall and began with Parkway North High School and after demonstrating her abilities, got a chance to play with the Texas Longhorns team in 2016 as a student-athlete. In her college years, she participated in 131 games, of which she started 65, and she accumulated 1,091 points. Sutton’s good performance at Texas, where she also made 419 assists, attracted the WNBA scouts, and she was drafted by the Washington Mystics in the third round with the 36th pick of the 2020 WNBA Draft.

Sutton is also a McDonald’s All-American, winning the nomination in 2016 and subsequently won the Second-team All-Big 12 honors in 2020 during her final year of college. She also won First-team All-Big 12 nominations in 2019. For the 2023 WNBA season, Sutton averaged 8.2 points, 0.7 steals, 4.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game and played in all 40 games in the season.
