Giannis Antetokounmpo was fouled by Lyles and Lopez didn't like the action. According to the broadcast, the two have been chirping nonstop throughout the entire game. This buildup led to them being physically aggressive against each other. The two had to be separated by their teammates and coaches.

Milwaukee won with a score of 133 to the Kings' 124. The one-time All-Star played well in their match, scoring 23 points, grabbing eight rebounds, and blocking three shots. Lopez also made four three-pointers in the game, which helped them win.

Khris Middleton had 31 points, nine assists, and five made threes in his fourth start this season. Antetokounmpo showed up big time for the Bucks, dropping 46 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists. The Kings' defense wasn't reliable as they failed to slow down Giannis from scoring inside.

The race for the Defensive Player of the Year award this season has been incredibly tight. Besides Brook Lopez, guys like Jaren Jackson Jr. and Robert Williams III have both been reliable presence defensively for their respective teams.

Looking at his stats this season, it's obvious that he's been a rock for the team when it comes to defense. He's averaging 2.5 blocks this season, the most in his entire career. Averaging more than two blocks a game isn't new to Lopez, as he's done the same thing on three separate occasions.

With his stats this season, it's hard to deny the fact that he should be considered to win the Defensive Player of the Year award. His presence inside has helped the Bucks capture first place in the Eastern Conference. If it has to come down to considering who will win the award, Lopez has a valid case for winning it.
