The HSBC Women's World Championship has been held every year in Singapore since 2008. When it first started, it was held in the Tanah Merah Country Club, located near the Singapore Changi Airport. Still, now it's been moved to the Sentosa Golf Club, with the Serapong Course hosting it from 2013 to 2016, then it made another move to the Tanjong Course in 2017, and since then, it has been taking place in 2017.

The HSBC Women's World tournament consists of the best of the best female golfers, and the tournament has seen its format and prize money evolve over the years. The Hong Kong-based HSBC sponsors the prize money. All the participants compete in four rounds, as there is no cut.

Who won the HSBC Women's World Championship in 2024?

Hannah Green, the Australian pro golfer, won the tournament in 2024. The HSBC Women's World Championship was held on Feb 28–Mar 3, 2024, at the famous Tanjong Course, and the golfers teed off for the prize money of $1,800,000.

Green was born on 20th December 1996 in Perth, Australia. She turned professional in 2016 and started off strong by winning the Symetra Tour, securing three victories in 2017 and earning her LPGA Tour card and sealed the deal by winning the 2019 Women's PGA Championship. She also participated in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and secured the fifth position. As an ambassador for the Como Golf Academy, she continues to inspire the next generation of golfers.
