Joey Bosa is an American football player who performs In the National Football League (NFL). He was the 3rd pick in the NFL 2016 draft selected by the Los Angeles Chargers and he performs as an outside linebacker for the group.

Bosa was the first of five Ohio State players who got drafted in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft. Before starting the season he was struggling because of a hamstring injury but he decided instead of treating it he decided to focus on his debut season. In a match against the Oakland Raiders, he made his NFL debut and because of his brilliant performance over the season, he was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He was ranked 100th by his team members in the list of Top 100 players of NFL 2017.

He continued his second season impressively and was ranked 37th by his team members in the list of Top 100 players of NFL 2018. In a game against Baltimore Ravens, he made his playoff debut in the Wild Card Round. In the 2019 season, Bosa switched his jersey number from ninety-nine to ninety-seven and due to his excellent performance was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week. Bosa signed a new contract extension deal of 5 years with the Chargers worth $135 million which made him the highest-paid defensive participant of the league.

Bosa's best game came in the 2021 season when he made 5 solo tackles in a game against the Baltimore Ravens and was ranked 30th by his teammates on the Top 100 players of NFL 2022. In a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he left the game with a groin injury and later it was revealed that will need surgery due to the following incident.

Joseph Anthony Bosa is currently 28 years old and was born in Fort Lauderdale on July 11, 1995. He was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the 2016 NFL draft at the age of 21.

Before coming into the NFL he played at Ohio State University from 2013 to 2015 wherein he played brilliantly. After having a great junior season in the year 2015 he announced that he will not be participating in his senior season and instead he wants to focus on his NFL career and wants to enter the 2016 NFL draft.

Joey Bosa weighs around 127 kg and is 6 ft 5 in tall. He first got here into the NFL when the San Diego Chargers selected him in the NFL draft of 2016. His father performed in the NFL also and his brother become drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2019. His cousin, grandfather, uncle and grand-uncle also played in the NFL as well.
