Kyle Kennard is a collegiate footballer who played as a defensive end for the University of South Carolina until the 2024 college football season. He has previously played for Georgia Tech from 2020 to 2023. For his impeccable performance, he was called for the 2025 NFL Combine. In his first match with the South Carolina Gamecocks, Kennard registered five tackles, two forced fumbles and two and a half sacks. His accomplishments include winning the Bronko Nagurski Trophy for being the top defensive player in college football. Kennard was a finalist for the Lombardi Award and won the Blanchard-Rogers Trophy, as per the NFL's official website.

Kennard started all 12 games of last season and notched 28 tackles, three forced fumbles and 11.5 sacks, as per Sports Reference. He showcased his season-best performance against Alabama by notching a season-high seven tackles. Kennard was on the list of the 14th-best players in the nation in ESPN’s midseason report and won the South Carolina Spirit Award. Playing for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in 2023, he participated in all 12 games of the season. While playing, he registered 54 tackles with 11 tackles for loss, including two fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and an interception, as per Sports Reference.
