Beatriz Haddad Maia is a Brazilian tennis player who has won three singles and seven doubles WTA titles till date. She achieved her career-high singles ranking of No. 10 in June 2023 and is ranked No. 21 by the WTA as of September 2024. She won the WTA Elite Trophy in 2023, and her other two singles titles came on grass in 2022 — the Birmingham Open and the Nottingham Open.

Haddad Maia reached the semifinal of the French Open in 2023, becoming the first Brazilian woman to reach the semifinals at Roland Garros in the Open Era. She lost the French Open semifinal match against Iga Swiatek. But that performance helped her to enter the top 10 in singles, and she became the first Brazilian woman to reach this milestone. Beatriz Haddad Maia is also a brilliant doubles player, she finished runner-up at the 2022 Australian Open.

She advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2024 US Open, defeating Caroline Wozniacki in the fourth round. She finished finalist at the 2024 Tennis in the Land, losing to McCartney Kessler. At the 2024 Korea Open, Haddad Maia defeated Daria Kasatkina in the final to win her fourth WTA title with a final scoreline of 4-6, 6-4, 6-1. She made it to the 2024 Ningbo Open quarterfinals before falling to Paula Badosa. She and Laura Siegemund were defeated by the team of Guo Hanyu and Alexandra Panova at the 2025 Brisbane International finals.
