The Laver Cup is an international men's team tennis competition played on indoor hard courts, which pits Team Europe (European players) against Team World, which consists of players from every continent other than Europe. The competition, which has been conducted annually since 2017, aims to be the Ryder Cup of the tennis world.

It usually occurs two weeks after the US Open, and the venue alternates annually between cities in Europe and the rest of the world.

In 2019, the Laver Cup was granted full ATP Tour status. The coaching of match participants is frequently done courtside by teammates and team captains, unlike traditional ATP tour matches.

The sixth iteration of the Laver Cup, an international men's tennis event between teams from Europe and the rest of the world, will take place from September 22 to 24, 2023, on a hard indoor court at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada. After winning the Laver Cup for the first time last year, Team World will try to defend their crown.
