Alexander Pietrangelo is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman and alternate captain for the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL. He spent twelve seasons with the St. Louis Blues, serving as their captain for four years, and is nicknamed "Petro." Pietrangelo won the Stanley Cup twice, with the Blues in 2019 and the Golden Knights in 2023.

Internationally, Alex Pietrangelo has represented Team Canada at both junior and senior levels. He won gold with Canada’s under-20 team at the 2009 World Junior Championships and was named Best Defenceman at the 2010 World Junior Championship and 2011 Men's World Championship.
