
Brad Marchand is a Canadian ice hockey player in the NHL. He was born on May 11, 1988. He plays as a left winger for the Florida Panthers, as of May 2025. Marchand was drafted by the Boston Bruins as the 71st pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He played junior hockey in the QMJHL before joining the NHL. Marchand helped the Bruins win the Stanley Cup in 2011.
He was named to the NHL All-Star Game in 2017 and 2018. He has also won gold medals with Team Canada at several international events. Marchand was the captain of the Bruins from 2023 until March 2025. In 2025, he was traded to the Florida Panthers.
