Brett Howden plays for the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2024-25 NHL season. The Tampa Bay Lightning selected Howden as the 27th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. In the 2015–16 WHL season, he scored 24 goals and 40 assists in 68 games for Moose Jaw. He finished fourth on the team in goals and points.

Howden achieved one of the highest honors in hockey, helping the Golden Knights secure their first Stanley Cup in 2023. Howden captained the Moose Jaw Warriors in the WHL and represented Canada internationally, earning gold medals at the 2015 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament and the 2018 World Junior Championships.
