Dmitry Kulikov plays for the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League (NHL) as of 2025. After being drafted by the Florida Panthers in 2009, Kulikov debuted against the Chicago Blackhawks and contributed with assists in three consecutive games.

The following years saw him establish a regular spot on the Panthers’ roster, which was rewarded with a three-year contract extension with the Panthers in 2014. However, he was later traded to the Buffalo Sabres in 2016. In the following year, he joined the Winnipeg Jets with a three-year deal. The following years included spells with the New Jersey Devils, Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota Wild, Anaheim Ducks, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Surprisingly, he returned to the Florida Panthers in 2023, signing a one-year contract, and he won the Stanley Cup championship in 2024. As of 2025, he is under a four-year contract with the Panthers.
