Gustav Forsling is a Swedish defenseman for the Florida Panthers as of May 2025. He was drafted 124th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in 2014 and made his SHL debut with Linköping in 2014–15. Vancouver traded him to Chicago in 2015. Forsling debuted in the NHL with the Blackhawks in 2016 and scored his first goal on January 6, 2017. He was claimed off waivers by the Panthers from Carolina on January 9, 2021.

Forsling signed an eight-year contract with the Panthers on March 7, 2024. That postseason, he led Florida defensemen with 13 points and set a team record with nine assists by a defenseman in a single playoff. He scored the game-winning goal against Boston in Game 6 of the 2024 Second Round. Forsling was named to Sweden's roster for the 2024–25 4 Nations Face-Off.
