
Jack Johnson is an American professional ice hockey defenseman for the Columbus Blue Jackets as of 2024. He began playing hockey in his hometown of Bloomington Hills, Michigan. He played minor hockey for Little Caesar's before transferring to Shattuck-Saint Mary's Boarding School in Faribault, Minnesota, for his eighth grade. In his sophomore year during the 2002–03 hockey season, Johnson scored 15 goals and 27 assists, helping his team win the U.S. National Championship alongside future NHL star Sidney Crosby.
