
Noah Hanifin is an American defenseman, playing for the Vegas Golden Knights in the National Hockey League (NHL). Drafted fifth overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2015 NHL entry draft, he is the youngest player to suit up for the Boston College Eagles at 17. Hanifin made his NHL debut for the Hurricanes against the Nashville Predators on October 8, 2015. He scored his first NHL goal in November 2015 against the Anaheim Ducks.
After a great 2017-18 season with the Hurricanes, Hanifin was traded to the Calgary Flames in June 2018. Hanifin played six seasons for the Flames before being traded to the Vegas Golden Knights in a three-way deal in March 2024.
