Vanloo’s youth career started with the U16 European Championship Women in 2007 and she played two more U16 European Championships before representing Belgium at the FIBA U17 World Championship in 2010. She led the Belgian side to a fourth-place finish and averaged 16.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game and established herself as one of the standout women's basketball players in Belgium. After the World Cup, Vanloo played in two more European Championships and permanently moved to the senior team.

Vanloo’s senior career started in 2009 when she was 16 years old and made her debut at the 2009 EuroBasket Women Division A. She then represented Belgium at several qualifying tournaments before making her debut at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup in 2018 and finished fourth after losing the third-place match to Spain.

Vanloo has also represented Belgium at four FIBA Women’s EuroBasket in 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023. She has led Belgium to two bronze medal finishes in 2017 and 2021 and a gold medal finish at the 2023 FIBA Women’s EuroBasket. She averaged 16.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game at the tournament and played a crucial role in the victory. She has also represented Belgium at two Olympics, the 2020 Tokyo and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
