Marina Mabrey is a women's basketball player who plays for the Connecticut Sun in the WNBA. She was born on 14th September 1996 in Belmar, New Jersey, U.S. Marbrey started her basketball life at Manasquan High School where she won the state championship and became MVP of that tournament in 2015. After a high reputation in school, she moved towards college basketball at The Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's basketball team. She won the NCAA championship in 2018 as a member of Notre Dame.

In 2019 Mabrey was selected 19th overall by the Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA draft. As a rookie, she averaged 4.0 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game as a backup shooting guard. Her best scoring season came when she was at Chicago Sky where she averaged 15 points, 3.6 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game. As of now, she is a main scoring contributor of the Connecticut Sun team averaging 13.7 points, 4.4 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game in the 2024 season.

Patti and Roy Mabrey are Marina Mabrey's parents. Patti Mabrey, the mother of Marina, was also a former basketball player and basketball coach in Belmar, New Jersey. She has done 20 years of Youth Basketball Coaching and 10 Year an HS and Youth Basketball Referee. Currently, she works as an assistant group coach of an independent basketball academy named Next Basket Wins. Marina’s father is also a former D2 player at St. Anselm College and current head coach of Women's Basketball at ASA College in Miami, FL.

Marina Mabrey siblings

Marina Mabrey has four siblings two brothers, Ryan and Roy and two sisters, Michaela and Dara Mabrey. All are basketball players in The Notre Dame Fighting Irish team except Dara who chose Virginia Tech for college basketball but later shifted to Notre Dame.

Michaela Mabrey, 5 foot 10 inches, is the elder sister of Marina who Graduated from Manasquan High School in Manasquan, New Jersey and then joined The Notre Dame Fighting Irish team in the 2012-13 season. Currently, she works as an assistant coach at Notre Dame.
