Deebo Samuels is still injured. He suffered an MCL sprain and ankle sprain in week 14 of the 2022 NFL season. Initially, he was expected to make his return during the regular season itself but he did not play in any of the final four games.


As of July 2023, Deebo is still recovering from his injury. He has been participating in 49ers training camp but he is not fully cleared to practice. It is unclear when he will return to his 100 percent but the possibility doesn’t seem very far.
