Eugene Asante is an American college football linebacker who played for the Auburn Tigers from 2022 to 2024 after transferring from the University of North Carolina (UNC). He participated in the 2025 Senior Bowl and officially declared for the 2025 NFL Draft on December 21, 2024, via his Instagram (@asante). At the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, he took part in several physical drills.
Asante was a 2024 team captain for Auburn and finished his college career with 196 total tackles, including 134 at Auburn. Before transferring, he played three seasons at North Carolina, recording 62 tackles in 36 games.
