Aljaz Bedene: A Brief Biography

Aljaz Bedene is a Slovenian tennis player. He performed his first ever ATP tournament at 2011 Erste Bank Open in Vienna, Austria. Bedene recorded his first ever ATP quarterfinal appearance at the 2012 Erste Bank Open. Bedene made his first ever ATP semifinal appearance at the 2013 Aircel Chennai Open defeating the number six seed Robin Haase in 2R and the number four seed Stanislas Wawrinka in QF. At 2013 Australian Open for the first time played at Grand Slam tournament. He won five Futures and five Challenger singles titles. In doubles he won one Challenger title and two Futures titles. He is a member of the Slovenia Davis Cup team. His highest ranking is No. 77 in singles and No. 262 in doubles.
