Australian Open Stadium

Played at Melbourne Park, the Australian Open 2025 will be hosted at three stadiums: Rod Laver Arena, John Cain Arena, and Margaret Court Arena. These stadiums are designed with retractable roofs, helping players compete during extreme heat and rain. Besides these three courts, the Australian Open includes three other courts: Show Court Arena (Kia Arena), Show Court 2, and Show Court 3.

For 2025, the number of games played at various stadiums has increased from 52 in 2024 to 58. Twenty-seven game sessions will be played at the Rod Laver Arena, 16 sessions are scheduled at Margaret Court Arena, and 15 game sessions at John Cain. The multipurpose Rod Laver Arena was opened in 1988 with a seating capacity of around 15,000 spectators. The second stadium on the list is Margaret Court Arena, which was built in 1988 and can accommodate 7,500 fans. The stadium was designed based on an inspiration showcasing the pleats of traditional tennis skirts.

Developed in 2000, John Cain Arena has a seating capacity of 10,300 with retractable roofs. Kia Arena is a newly built stadium unveiled on November 22, 2021, with a seating capacity of 5000 people. The remaining Show Courts 2 and 3 can host tennis matches with 3000 fans enjoying the event.
